Press On Nails Size Chart

The standard 0–11 sizing used across our factory production — with the 60-second self-measure method.

How to measure your nails in 60 seconds

  1. Tear a strip of paper about 1 cm wide.
  2. Place it across the widest part of your natural nail — from sidewall to sidewall.
  3. Mark both edges with a pen.
  4. Measure the distance in millimeters with a ruler.
  5. Match to the chart below.

Tip: Measure all 10 nails — most people wear 3–4 different sizes across one hand.

Average size profile by hand

For quick reference, an "average adult woman" hand tends to be:

  • Thumb: size 2 (14 mm)
  • Index: size 4 (12 mm)
  • Middle: size 3 (13 mm)
  • Ring: size 5 (11 mm)
  • Pinky: size 7 (9 mm)

Shape affects fit, too

A coffin shape at size 4 is a slightly different curve than almond size 4 — same width, but a wider taper. If you're switching shapes, expect to adjust one size on the middle and ring fingers. See our nail shape comparison for how each shape wears at retail.

FAQ

How do I measure my nails for press-ons?

Place a strip of paper across the widest part of your natural nail, mark both edges, then measure in millimeters. Match to the chart above. Between two sizes? Size down and file the sides.

Are press-on nail sizes universal?

Numbering (0–11) is standard across most brands, but the mm width varies by ±0.5 mm. Always check the brand's chart. Our factory uses the sizes above.

What if my nails are between two sizes?

Always size DOWN. A slightly narrow press-on can be filed to match your natural nail width; an oversized one will lift at the sidewalls within days.

Why do most press-on sets include 24 nails instead of 10?

24 pieces give two size options per finger. Test-fit before applying, then use the leftovers to refresh a lifted nail mid-wear.

Do custom sizes cost more from a factory?

Fully-custom hand-sculpted sizing adds $2–$5 per set at wholesale. Sized-to-order semi-custom (choose from 12 widths) is usually free above MOQ.

Ready to shop by size?

Every set in the catalog ships in 24 pieces across two width options — so most hands fit right out of the box. Wholesale buyers can request semi-custom sizing free above MOQ; see the wholesale program.
